Base for cosmetic products, composed of an oil-in-water (o/w) type nonionic emulsion with a viscosity of between 10000 and 15000 mPa.s, containing less than 1% of soap, wax, fat solvent and resin and comprising, in proportions by weight: - from 21 to 32% of a fatty phase consisting of nonionic fats and at least one nonionic emulsifier, - the complement to 100% of one or more additives including a texture agent and an aqueous phase, preparation process and mascara thereby obtained.
