HEAT-RESISTANT FIBROUS INSULATING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR EXECUTING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant fibrous insulating material having slight occurrence of rebound and dust and little release after execution by mixing alumina-silica fibers with inorganic alumina fibers and a water-soluble inorganic binder and spraying the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Alumina-silica inorganic fibers are mixed with alumina inorganic fibers. The mixture together with air is sent through a hose, bonded to a water- soluble inorganic binder sent from another hose and sprayed upon the surface of a wall. Then a heat-resistant fibrous insulating material containing >=6mm small lump wherein the binder is mutually entangled with the fibers is formed.
