The invention relates principally to a reinforced harness, to a motor vehicle safety seat for a child comprising such a harness and to a winder capable of being employed in such a harness. According to the invention, these objects are achieved according to the invention by a harness for a motor vehicle safety seat for a child including elements or strap sashes joined by a winder and a device for retaining the said elements or strap sashes which hold, for example, the ends of the sashes after possible breaking of the winder. The present invention applies principally to the production of motor vehicle safety seats for a child, including a harness comprising winders. <IMAGE>
