PURPOSE:To provide a damping composite material showing excellent damping properties and recycling properties while holding high strength. CONSTITUTION:In a damping composite material wherein non-damping layers and damping layers are alternately integrated so as to form a layered structure, each of the non-damping layers is formed of at least one fabric constituted of a continuous reinforcing fiber and a fiber of a thermoplastic resin A and each of the damping layers is constituted of at least one fabric consisting of the continuous reinforcing fiber and a fiber of a thermoplastic resin B having a glass transition point lower than that of the thermoplastic resin A.
