An improved bottle extractor intended for machines for moulding hollow glassware, comprising a mechanical arm for extracting hollow glassware, equipped with a stepping motor whose delivery shaft is connected directly to the shaft for actuating the mechanical arm, the motor being insulated from the remainder of the extractor by a sheet of thermal insulation material, with an inductive position sensor, with a conjugate plate which has the same axis of rotation as the actuation axis.
