<p>A small amount of subtitles data and key data is transmitted efficiently. The mixing ratio of the subtitles data and the background video image is specified by the key data. If the value of the key data is great, the attenuation ratio of the subtitles data is increased while the attenuation ratio of the background video image is decreased. Conversely, if the value of the key data is small, the attenuation ratio of the title data is decreased while the attenuation of the background video image is increased. The level of this key data and that of the title data are quantized and transmitted together.</p> |
