<p>There is provided a vehicle (10) having a first light unit (14) adapted to illuminate an area either forward or to the rear of the vehicle (10), a turn indicator unit (16) adapted to provide a signal indicative of the intended direction of turn of the vehicle (10), and means (18) adapted to provide a substantially constant illumination in a direction that diverges obliquely from the direction of travel of the vehicle (10) and which is selectively operable in response to the actuation together of both said first light unit (14) and the turn indicator unit (18). There is also provided a vehicle light assembly (12) for attachment to a vehicle (10) and comprising a housing, a first light unit (14) located within the housing and adapted to illuminate an area either forward or to the rear of the vehicle (10), a turn indicator unit (16) located within the housing and adapted to provide a signal indicative of the intended direction of turn of the vehicle (10) and means (18) located within the housing and adapted to provide a substantially constant illumination in a direction that diverges obliquely from the direction of travel of the vehicle (10), said oblique illumination means (18) being selectively operable by the driver of the vehicle.</p> |
