METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DRIVE OF ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A method is provided to make a fireman rapidly drive an elevator to an optional floor by checking a control signal from the input of a platform up and down calling button inside a cage in case of a fire. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the drive of an elevator electrically connects a platform up and down calling button(12) with a fire fighting switch or a fire sensing switch(10) switching the elevator in an on and off state. When firing, an elevator controlling unit(20) judges if the fire sensing switch or the fire sensing switch is turned on. Then, the controlling unit judges if the platform up and down calling button is turned on and flickering the button lamp of a corresponding floor by the calling button and informing a fireman of the corresponding floor when the calling button is turned on.
