PURPOSE: A method for promoting germination of Zoysi grass seed is provided to germinate 93 % of Zoysi grass seed within 5 days. CONSTITUTION: To germinate Zoysi grass seed more quickly, pollinate the seed about to 70%, and freezing it at 12°C below zero for 2 hrs. and polish the hull about to 30%. And then, vacuum-freeze it at 45°C below zero for over 1 hr under a condition of 10¬-2 mmHG.
