<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a drum frame and reduce the manufacturing cost of the frame and, at the same time, to easily mount a rotating drum on the frame and easily adjust the braking force by generating the braking force by utilizing a shaft supporting the rotating drum. CONSTITUTION:When a rotating drum 10 is mounted on a drum frame with brake, both end sections of a shaft 16 are put on a pair of frames 12 and 14 which support the shaft 16 after the shaft 16 is passed through the drum 10, brake plates 34 and 36, and rubber plates 76 and a shaft movement inhibiting member 154 is fitted to the protruded end section of the shaft 16. Consequently, the interval between the frames 12 and 14 and the pressing forces of the brake plates 34 and 36 against the rubber plates 76 are adjusted by means of the outer pipe 148 engaged with one end section of the shaft 16 by threads and the member 154 fitted to the other end of the shaft 16. Namely, when the pipe 148 is rotated, the adjustment of the interval between the frames 12 and 14 and the braking force can be performed through one action. Therefore, a drum frame with brake which has a simple structure and can be manufactured inexpensively and on which a rotating drum can be easily mounted and the braking force of which can be easily adjusted is obtained.</p> |
