PURPOSE:To provide various multi-media functions by mounting a storage device, a television camera, a tuner and an audio, etc., to a television with a high performance computer as a core. CONSTITUTION:A CRT 2, the storage device 3, the television camera 4 and the tuner 5 are mounted to the main body 1 of this multimedia television and the control of the display screen of the CRT 2, the input/output control of the storage device 3, the picture input control of the television camera 4, reception control in the tuner 5, etc., are totally performed by the high performance computer inside the main body 1 of the multi-media television. For instance, a recording medium such as a CD-ROM or the like is inserted into the storage device 3, pictures are reproduced by the CRT 2 and signals from the other medium inputted through a signal input part are recorded. Also, satellite broadcasting and normal television broadcasting can be received by the tuner 5 and reception signals can be stored in the storage device 3.
