PURPOSE: To provide a coaxial connector for use with a coaxial cable which has an outer conductor in whose outside surface helical crests and troughs are formed. CONSTITUTION: A coaxial connector comprizes a conventional front coaxial connector part 10 and a fit part 40 (or an adapter assembly body) in the rear part. The fit part 40 comprizes a main body part 42 to be screwed into and fixed to the coaxial connector part 10, an intermediate annular flange 44, and a conductive bushing 70 to be accepted in this annular flange 44. An outer conductor 108 of a termination-processed coaxial cable 100 is screwed into the bushing 70 and an exposed part 104 of a center conductor 102 is passed through a center hole of the annular flange 44 and fitted onto a center contact 14 of the coaxial connector part 10. |
