PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible sheet having both flame retardance and water repellency by coating nonwoven fabric composed of polyester yarn with a flame- retardant and a water repellent, drying and embossing. CONSTITUTION:The surface of nonwoven fabric composed of polyester yarn is coated with a coating component comprising an ethylene-vinyl chloride copolymer emulsion (binder), antimony pentoxide and a fluorine-based water repellent in an amount to provide 20-500g/m<2> built-up of solid content, dried and embossed at a temperature to melt the coating compound to provide a flame-retardant and water repellent sheet. |
