<p>Disclosed is a combined bath tub(1)/shower tub (3) device, whereby the bath tub is placed on top of the shower tub (3) in position B = bathing position so that the runoff from the bath tub is placed on top of the runoff from the shower tub and the bath tub is placed horizontally, i.e. edgewise, on one side in position D= shower position, whereby the shower tub (3) is uncovered. A force, preferably one generated by an electric motor (13), enables the bath tub to move easily from one position to the other by means of a tilting or lifting mechanism. By separating the bath tub from the shower tub in a coherent manner, the height of the edge of the shower tub remains as low as that of a separate shower tub and the height of the edge of the bath tub is increased only slightly. Both sections are user-friendly, especially for the elderly or disabled.</p> |
