PURPOSE:To mold a golf ball without damaging the appearance shape and flight capacity of a dimple formed by the head part of the holding pin protruding into a cavity by forming the surface of the folding pin so as to have a circular protruding spherical surface from the center of the cavity. CONSTITUTION:A pin 2 having a head part 3 is held to the state protruding into the cavity 4 formed by the lower mold 1 and upper mold of a golf ball mold by a reciprocally moving mechanism. Each of the dimples 11 of a golf ball is formed by the head part 3 of the pin. The surface 3a of the head part 3 of the pin 2 is formed into a circular protruding spherical surface (A-arrow view) from the center of the cavity 4. Therefore, the dimple 11 formed by the head part 3 becomes the same dimensional shape as the dimple 11 formed by the dimple forming protruding part 12 provided to the inner surface of the cavity 4 and the molded golf ball 13 is beautifully finished in the appearance shape of all of dimples 11 and the flight capacity thereof is not damaged. |
