PURPOSE: To secure an electronic identification system by providing a memory for containing an accessible data unique to the facility, a means generating a security signal and a means for detecting any lack of integrity of the security signal to generate a tamper warning signal. CONSTITUTION: A system is composed of a first unit 10 (control processor), a second unit 20 (slave processor) and an optical fiber communication link 18 for connecting both units 10, 20. An accessible data unique to the facility, for example a memory containing a chassis number is provided in the first unit 10. Respective unit 10, 20 provides a physical mask (in area 40) for identify the vehicle and also has an obstacle indicator 41 and further has a means for generating the security signal periodically. When the optical fiber communication link 18 is damaged or either one of both units 10, 20 is removed, an influence is given to the security signal, and the tamper warning signal is generated and indicated on the obstacle indicator 41. |
