PURPOSE: To realize an exact ink metering by every zone so as to elatically press the front part of an ink fountain roller and further the front part of an ink knife with an inside plastic jaw, which is one part of the two parts consisting of each side jaw equipped so as to mount to each ink knife holder at one of both the sides of an ink knife. CONSTITUTION: In the multiple blade ink knife 10 for the ink fountain of an offset printing machine, a flexible steel plate ink knife 12 is formed by means of adjusting members arranged on respective blades 42 so as to bend at angles different from every zone to an ink fountain roller 34, the knife 10 is designed as an autonomous unit having the side jaws consisting of two parts attached on both sides to an ink knife holder 16. Each of two side jaws is equipped with an outside metal jaw 18 and an inside plastic jaw 26. The jaw 26 elastically press the front part 32 of the ink fountain roller 34 and further the front part of the ink knife 12. |
