The nozzle comprises a lower support element (12) intended to rest on the lower plate of the reactor core at least at one cooling water passage opening, and an adaptable plate (13) provided with waste filtering means (18). Diffusers (30), flared in the direction of the adaptor plate (13), are secured to the support element (12). The wall of the diffusers (30) is traversed by at least one port (31) so that the neck of the diffuser (30) communicates with a trapping space (32) for capturing the wastes, space wherein the wastes stopped by the filtering means (18) are sucked by the depression prevailing at the neck of the diffuser (30). The lower nozzle (33) may be configured particularly as a casing, the support element (12) consisting of a plate through which at least one water passage opening (15) is provided.
