摘要

An operating system provides facilities for switching of keyboard configurations and code pages. The operating system allows application programs run on it to change their keyboard configurations and code pages without interrupting execution of the application program. Visual user interface elements are provided within the window of the application program by the operating system to allow a user to change the keyboard. The keyboard languages associated with the user interface visual elements may be switched by the user. As a result, the user has access to a multitude of different keyboard languages and code pages. <IMAGE>
