The invention relates to a device for handling wine bottles, of the type having a structure capable of containing a case of bottles and of turning about a horizontal axis of rotation, characterised in that: - on the one hand, the structure is formed from two lateral flanks (3) (4), of a base (6) and of a rear plane (5) capable of supporting the case of bottles, the said structure including openings on the faces opposite the bottom (6) and opposite the rear plane (5) for facilitating loading and unloading of the said case, - on the other hand, the structure is mounted rotationally on a horizontal shaft (2) carried by a chassis (9), the rotational shaft being positioned so as to facilitate 90 DEG rocking of the case/structure assembly from its loading position to its unloading position and vice versa. <IMAGE>
