Starting from an external feed, a reserve is constituted by filling a reservoir (6') comprising an admission opening (10') which can be connected, for the time of filling, to said feed and at least one distribution opening (27') connected to at least one receiver (3). The reservoir (6') has a wall which is, at least over its greater part (7'), flexible and it is included in a containment space (5'). The force developed by the admission of the water into the reservoir (6') is turned to advantage to charge with energy compression means (18') which, once the application of said force has ceased, release this energy by exerting on the volume of the reservoir (6') a compression force which is capable of reducing the volume thereof progressively to an essentially insignificant value. <IMAGE>
