Safety assembly for fastening a frame (4) inside a cavity (12) made in an interior joinery door. When glazing or when a panel is to fill a void (12), the frame is fixed on each side of the said panel or of the glass which it entraps. In order to do this, the edge of the frame and the edge outside the cavity are both equipped, one with a section (7) the other with a counter-section (9). The one penetrates the other laterally and for this to be possible the uprights and crossmembers of the frame (4) can move in all directions, in bending. <IMAGE>
