METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR STATOR PROCESSING

PURPOSE: To provide an improved method and apparatus for temporarily holding the end part of the coil wire during and after winding a coil around a stator pole and for arranging a temporary stop gripper on a stator carrying pallet. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary member 20 comprises a grip means for temporarily stopping the lead of a wire coil wound around a pole of a stator 10. When the stator 10 arrives at a winding station during a manufacturing process, both the stator 10 and the auxiliary member 20 can be carried to a winding machine where the lead of the stator coil is gripped by the gripping means. When the winding is finished, both the stator 10 and the auxiliary member 20 are carried to a termination station where the lead of the coil is fixed finally to the terminal receptacle 6 of the stator 10.
