CONSTITUTION:Ceria group oxide 2 as solid electrolyte 8 is arranged on the air electrode side 1 and yttria partially stability zirconia 3 is arranged on the fuel electrode side 4. The air electrode 1 and the fuel electrode 4 are connected via a conductor 5, and an air or oxygen flow passage 6 is formed on the air electrode side 1 and a hydrogen or carbon monoxide flow passage 7 is formed on the fuel electrode side 4. The reaction of oxygen with hydrogen gives a preset operating temperature to cause the movement of oxygen in the electrolyte 8 and the flow of electron ions through the conductor 5 in the form of a generation system. At this time, the reaction allows carbon dioxide and moisture to occur in the flow passage 7 and redox reaction allows oxygen in the electrolyte 8 to be supplied to Ni because oxide is used for the fuel pole 4.
