PURPOSE:To reduce the quantities of a conducting material and a binder to be used and improve the battery performance of a lithium secondary battery or the like by applying an electrode active material to a base material deposited with a metal on a three-dimensional meshy plastic substrate having an inner communicating space by the vapor phase plating method. CONSTITUTION:When aluminum is deposited to a polyester nonwoven fabric 6 in a vacuum chamber l by the arc ion plating method, a base material of an aluminum layer is formed to cover the whole lattice surface of the polyester nonwoven fabric 6. PVA and carbon powder are added to lithium containing manganese dioxide as an active material and kneaded, and the mixture is filled and applied to the base material to obtain a lithium secondary battery positive electrode material. It is cut and laminated with a negative electrode of a metal lithium plate via a separator of a polyester nonwoven fabric, they are wound into a spiral shape, an electrolyte solved with LiClO4, is provided between the positive and negative electrodes, and a cylindrical lithium secondary battery can be formed. |
