PURPOSE:To attain applying an IC for processing a signal of a hard disk by giving a differential characteristic to a regenerative signal of an optical disk without deteriorating an S/N. CONSTITUTION:A reflected beam from a magneto-optical disk 7 is made incident on a polarizing beam splitter 14, and is splitted to a p polatzation and an s polarization, and respective polarization are made incident on bisected photodetectors 61, 62. First and second photodetecting parts of the photodetectors 61, 62 are arranged in the radial direction of an incident spot dealing with in the tangential direction of the disk 7 respectively. The outputs of the first and the second photdetecting parts of the photodetector 61 are subtracted by an amplifier 63, and the outputs of the first and the second photodetecting parts of the photodetector 62 are subtracted by the amplifier 64, and the outputs of the amplifiers 63, 64 are subtracted by the amplifier 21 to be provided with the regenerative signal (MO signal). The regenerative signal is supplied to a processing system equal in a hard disk reproducing device after an equalizer 43 through a switch 22. The regenerative signal is provided with the differential characteristic, and is processed excellently by the processing system, and the regenerative data are provided on an output terminal 52. |
