PURPOSE:To obtain a solid-state laser device capable of generating laser beams of a single longitudinal mode that are linearly polarized to one specific direction. CONSTITUTION:Within a resonator of a solid-state laser device, polarizing beams composed of a double refraction crystal and a longitudinal mode control element 15 are arranged. Two beam pass end surfaces 15a, 15b of this element 15 are cut so as to make an angle with an optical axis, and a high reflection coat 17 comprising one mirror of a laser resonator is applied to the one beam pass end surface 15a, and a thin film 19 having an absorption for a laser oscillation wavelength is formed on the other beam pass end surface 15b. |
