PURPOSE:To settle the account of a call tariff of a public telephone by transferring it from a user's account while utilizing a bank card. CONSTITUTION:Since this system is on-line connected with a financial institution host computer 4 during on-line working time, the update of information inside a bank card 1 and the settlement of the account of the call tariff are updated at real time. Out of the on-line working time, the information inside the bank card 1 is updated by a public telephone set 2, the information of the call tariff is transferred from the public telephone set 2 through a telephone exchange 3 to the external information reception file of the financial institution host computer 4, and batch update is performed to the data base of the financial institution by center cut processing before the on-line working time in the next morning. |
