<p>A medical dressing (10) treating for open chest injuries is disclosed. The medical dressing (10) is comprised of one-way valve (20) and body attachment means (12) whose center translates into duct segment (16). Body attachment means (12) has a top side (17), an underside (19), and an adhesive underside section (14). The one-way valve (20) is made of natural rubber, vinyl or other materials which allow the sides (28a) and (28b) to separate when air is expelled from the wound through the interior of the one-way valve (20). The body attachment means (12) has a non-adhesive finger hold (11) positioned proximate to a non-adhesive finger hold (15) of a tear away backing (13).</p> |
