The invention relates to a special refuse container with a heat-insulating layer extending over a considerable part of the surface, and with a protective casing which encloses the heat-insulating layer. In the case of said special refuse container, a cooling-water duct is formed between the surface of the container and the heat-insulating layer, cooling water provided at the top end of the container being able to flow via said duct in order to cool the surface of the container.
