The invention is an improved male condom (10) for wearing on the penis (12). Loose fitting, the male condom (10) is held in place by a simple, yet reliable closure (20). The closure can be a continuous elastic band or inelastic band of VELCRO3. The loose fit makes application and removal easier, and during intercourse increases sensation for the wearer. The closure (20) provides a seal at the base of the penis (12) to protect from disease and pregnancy resulting from fluid leakage, and if suitably tight, can prolong erections.
