PURPOSE:To facilitate an operation mode selecting work without enlarging the device, by selecting the operational mode containing the size of an original detected by an original size detecting means from an operational mode storing means storing operational modes. CONSTITUTION:In areas M1-Mn of the RAM 33 of a CPU 31, operational modes such as original size, paper size, copying magnification, etc., are previously stored. The size of an original on an original feeding tray 4a is detected by means of a sensor 3 and inputted to the CPU 31. When an operation mode is selected and called from the RAM 33 by depressing an operation mode calling key 14 after a copying number, exposure, magnification, and form cassette are selected through various keys 15-19 on a console panel 11 and inputted to the CPU 31, the CPU 31 controls and causes each control section 36-38 of this copying machine to execute copying operations. Therefore, operation mode can easily be selected without enlarging the device. |
