In a cleaning method of a dish washer which performs cleaning, rinsing, and drying strokes of dishes. The controls of the drying stroke of the dish washer includes the steps of: determining a drying mode and reading a set temperature of the corresponding mode and a maximum time; having the time of turning on/off and increasing an internal temperature by heat-radiating in case of the internal temperature of the washing tub is below to a set temperature; having the time of turning on/off and holding the internal temperature by heat-radiating in case of the internal temperature of the washing tub is between the set temperature and above temperature; and stopping the heater from radiating in case of the maximum time lapses and the temperature rises to the set temperature.
