PURPOSE:To provide a scan converting means to make independent asynchronously the frequency of the sampling clock of an A/D converting means and the frequency of the clock of an image memory using a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic diagnostic device has a fast-in/fast-out type /memory (FIFO memory) 3 between an A/D converter 2 and an image memory 6, wherein the memory 3 possesses a storage capacity corresponding to one pass of ultrasonic scan, and into this FIFO memory 3, all ultrasonic signals corresponding to one pass of ultrasonic scan are once written in synchronization with the ultrasonic scan and also read out in synchronization with the TV scanning to then be written into the image memory 6. A coordinates conversion is made by a coordinates converting circuit 10, and signal is read by the image memory 6 and fed to a TV monitor through an interpolation circuit 12 and a D/A converter 13, and ultrasonic image is displayed on the monitor. |
