<p>Two rectangular layers of material (11,12) of the same size are superimposed and joined by lengthwise and crosswise seams (13) around the periphery. The first, cleaning, layer (11) made of cotton wool synthetic mixture has adjacent fibres (15). The second layer (12) has two symmetrical slits (20,21) of a size and distance apart to enable protuberances pointing in the opposite direction on the cleaning appliance to be inserted through them. The protuberances fit into compartments formed between the two layers of material which are joined by a rectangular seam (25,26) with sides parallel with, and near, their edges, near the slits, so as to form a pocket (28,29).</p> |
