CLUTCHLESS ONE-SIDED PISTON TYPE VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR AND ITS DISPLACEMENT CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE:To suppress fluctuation of a discharge pressure and a torque by applying pressure in a crank chamber to an interruption body which is opened and closed so as to introduce cooling medium gas from an external cooling medium circuit to an intake chamber, and keeping an inclination angle of a swash plate minimum which is not zero when the interruption body is in a closing position. CONSTITUTION:A rotary support body 8 is supported inside a crank chamber 2a of a front housing 2, while a rotary shaft 9 is fixed thereto. A swash plate support body 14 is slidably supported to the rotary shaft 9, while a swash plate 15 is supported thereto in an inclining manner. A one-head piston 22 is housed in a cylinder bore 1a of a cylinder block 1, and is abutted against the swash plate 15 through a shoe 23. A cylindrical interruption body 21 is slidably housed in a housing port 13 which is formed on a center portion of the cylinder block 1. Pressure in the crank chamber 2a is applied to the interruption body 21. An inclination angle of the swash plate 15 is kept minimum which is not zero, when the interruption body is in a closing position.
