PURPOSE:To obtain a cutting oil low in adverse effects on the environment and human body, ready to wash away from objects by simply using water, used for producing stainless steel spring materials, etc., comprising a mineral oil and a specific dicarboxylic ester. CONSTITUTION:This cutting oil comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a mineral oil and (B) pref. 0.1-15 pts.wt. of a dicarboxylic ester with an aliphatic hydrocarbon as the main chain. |
