An auto sunshield device is provided to prevent passengers or objects from being exposed to direct lights directly by lifting or lowering a blocking member. An auto sunshield device comprises a blocking member(16), a lift member(30), a sensing unit(20), and a control unit. The lift member lifts and lowers the blocking member. The sensing unit includes upper and lower optical sensors and is installed to the end portion of the blocking member. The control unit controls the lift member based on the amount of the light concentrated on the upper and lower optical sensors. The blocking member is installed at upper or lower parts of a glass member. The control member lifts the blocking member, when the amount of light concentrated on the upper and lower sensors is greater than a reference light amount. The control member lowers the blocking member, when the amount of light concentrated on the upper and lower sensors is smaller than a reference light amount. The control unit controls the lift member to stop the blocking member, when the light amount of the upper sensor is equal to or smaller than the reference light amount or the light amount of the lower sensor is larger than or equal to the reference light amount. |
