<p>The invention relates to a machine for cutting tiles including: a cutting member (5); a main abutment face (6) of the framework allowing one side (3A) of the tile (3) to bear; and a support (11) mounted so that it slides perpendicularly (T) to the cutting axis (4) and supporting a first arm (15) exhibiting a first face (15A) parallel to the cutting axis (4) allowing the bearing (3B) of the tile (3) to be cut. According to the invention, a second arm (16), pivoting on the first arm (15), includes a second face (16A) for the bearing (3B) of a tile (3) to be cut, whereas an angular graduation (20) secured to one (16) of the two arms allows the angular orientation of the second face (16A) to be adjusted with respect to the first face (15A) and a device (19) for immobilising the relative pivoting of the two said arms allows the said pivoting to be immobilised. In addition, the support (11) of the arm (15) is itself equipped with a second graduation (13) which can move along facing at least one reference mark (14) included by the framework (1), the scale of this second graduation (13) being identical to that of the first graduation (7), the said second graduation (13) extending in the opposite direction from the first graduation (7) and having an origin value (G13) which is identical to the end value (G7) of the first graduation (7), so that a distance (L3B) from the first abutment face (15A) to the cutting axis (4) which is greater than the end value (G7) of the first graduation (7) can be measured by reading off the relative position of the second graduation (13) facing the said reference mark (14). <IMAGE></p> |
