Connection between smoke-gas pipes of a heating boiler

The invention relates to a connection between the smoke-gas pipes terminating on one end face of a heating boiler and a smoke-gas pipe discharging some of the smoke gases for afterburning, for example for heating boilers for the generation of hot water and/or steam. The smoke-gas pipes (2) of the heating boiler (1), the smoke gas of which is afterburnt, are sealed off, together with the discharging smoke-gas pipe (4), relative to the remaining smoke-gas pipes (2) of the heating boiler (1). The emission of harmful substances can thereby be reduced approximately by a further 20%. The seal consists of heat-resistant fabric and can be adapted to the particular features of construction of the respective heating boiler. It can be retrofitted. <IMAGE>
