PURPOSE:To permit to continue running safely even in case abnormality is generated in an engine output sensor by switching to an abnormal time speed change ratio control signal to operate a speed change control mechanism when abnormality is generated in the engine output sensor. CONSTITUTION:A sensor abnormality detecting means 18 detects abnormality in the engine output sensor based on an engine output signal 20. When the sensor abnormality detecting means 18 detects the abnormality, a sensor abnormality signal 22 is sent to an abnormal time objective speed change ratio determining means 24, a sensor abnormality alarm and memory means 26 and an objective speed change ratio selecting means 16. The abnormal time objective speed change ratio determining means 24 determines the abnormal time speed change ratio control signal 30 based on an operating condition signal 28 and an already selected objective speed change ratio signal 32 and sends it to the objective speed change ratio selecting means 16. The objective speed change ratio selecting means 16 sends the signal 30 to a speed change command signal operating means 34 as the already selected objective speed change ratio signal 32 when the signal 22 is already being inputted. |
