Remote control for a model vehicle which is equipped with at least one electric drive motor which can be operated by a control unit, having a manually operated transmitter and having a receiver which is connected to the control unit. Contained in the remote control are: a) a memory for a desired value communicated by the transmitter, b) a device for continuously detecting an actual value of the drive motor, c) a comparator for comparing the desired value with the actual value, and d) a correcting (compensating) device which varies the driving power output at the drive motor until the actual value and the desired value are of the same magnitude. <IMAGE>
