<p>The device for surrounding and securing member extremities, especially for the treatment of fractures in the region of the leg and of the thigh, consists of a shell (10) consisting of a single shell part or two L-shaped shell parts (20, 30) which can be clamped together with a semicircular cross-sectional shape and which surround the member extremity to be enclosed. Between the concave sections (20, 30) and the member extremity there is at least one evacuatable sleeve pad in the interior of which, comprised between the two pad walls, there is a plurality of fillers movable in relation to one another. The wall surfaces of the shell (10) are at least partly gridded or ribbed.</p> |
