The invention concerns multiphase propylene block copolymers made from (a) a propylene polymer including 0 to 5 % by wt. of other, C2-C10, alk-1-enes and (b) a copolymer of propylene with 5 to 98 % wt. of other, C2-C10, alk-1-enes, the multiphase block copolymers having a melting point below 155 DEG C and a stiffness (G modulus) which meets the following condition (I): G-Modul > 800.Ma)/Mco, in which Ma) is the quantity of the propylene polymer (a) and Mco is the quantity of the multiphase block copolymer. Such multiphase block copolymers can be obtained in particular by polymerization in the presence of metallocene-containing catalyst systems.
