PURPOSE: To obtain a combined picture having appearance similar to original pictures when a 1st partially transparent picture is superposed to a 2nd picture. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a density reducing means 20 for receiving transparency information 16 with relatively high density for defining the transparency of a 1st picture to a 2nd picture and calculating transparency information 16 with relatively low density and a combined picture providing means for receiving the digital expression of the 1st picture, the digital expression of the 2nd picture and the transparency information with low density and calculating the digital expression of a combined picture. |
