PURPOSE:To obtain a bending device which possesses the excellent outside appearance and touch feeling, and permits the smooth bending with a light operating force, by integrally covering the outer peripheral part of a core body by a skin body consisting of a soft skin member and covering the outer peripheral part of the bending part of the core body by a deformable bellows body. CONSTITUTION:An accommodating recessed part 14 which is positioned over the side part of a seat and is opened in a car room is formed on the roof side panel 11 of an automobile. An assisting grip 21 as bending device is installed at the accommodating recessed part 14. The assisting grip 21 is equipped with a core body 22 which can be bent at the bendable parts 22a at two places, a pair of bellows bodies 23 fitted with a core body 22 so as to cover the bendable part 22a, and a skin body 24 consisting of the soft skin body which is formed so as to integrally cover the outer peripheral part of the core body 22 and the bellows body 23, leaving both the edge parts of the core body 23. The assisting grip 21 is pulled inside the car room and used by pulling the assisting grip 21 to this side. |
