<p>PURPOSE: To dispense with a microswitch which is independently provided and to reduce cost by providing either a light emitting element or a light receiving element on the side surface of a safety shoe on the same side and attaching the other one on a part other than the safety shoe. CONSTITUTION: When a passenger tries to get on a car 1 from an entrance 2 during the closing operation of doors 4, 5, the light beam projected from light emitting elements 13, 15 for lighting receiving elements 14, 16 is shielded by the passenger. This light detector detects the passenger, the doors 4, 5 in the closing operation are reversed and opened. When the light beam is not emitted on a passenger who is getting on the car 1, the doors 4, 5 continue the closing operation, collide with the passenger, to rotate the safety shoes 6, 7. The light emitting elements 13, 15 are moved upward from the prescribed positions. Therefore, the light emitting elements 13, 15 are deviated slightly from the facing positions of the light receiving elements 14, 16, the projected light beam are not received by the light receiving elements 14, 16, and the passenger can be detected.</p> |
