<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high developing efficiency even in the case of feeding developer constituted by mixing magnetic toner with magnetic carrier at low speed. CONSTITUTION:As to this developing method, a developing area is formed by arranging a non-magnetic sleeve 8 having a fixed magnetic member inside so that it may be opposed to an image carrier 7 having an electrostatic charge image on its surface; and the developer 12 constituted by mixing the magnetic toner containing binding resin and magnetic powder and having the charging ability in a unidirectional polarity with the magnetic carrier is magnetically attracted to the surface of the sleeve 8, and the sleeve 8 is rotated, so that the developer 12 is fed to the developing area and the electrostatic charge image is developed with the magnetic toner. In the developing method, the magnetic carrier is magnetic particles mainly composed of magnetite.</p> |
