PURPOSE:To make a screen bright in a normal direction(user direction) and to make image quality excellent by diffusing and condensing light through a compound sheet obtained by superposing a light condensing sheet on a light diffusing sheet. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with the compound sheet 7 constituted of two light condensing sheets 8 whose front surface 8a is made a wavy structural surface and one light diffusing sheet 4 whose front surface 4a is made a random rugged surface. Then, it is equipped with a transparent light transmission plate 6 installed behind the sheet 7 and having a dot pattern on its back surface, a cathode ray tube 1 installed on one side of the plate 6, and a reflector 3 arranged at the back side of the plate 6. Then, a liquid crystal display element is arranged on the front surface of the sheet 8. Thus, the device has both light condensing property with which the front direction of the screen becomes very bright and light diffusing property with which the screen is viewed to be equally bright within a certain visual field angle. |
