PURPOSE: To provide a control lever assembly, in which the movement of a lever within a fixed range is smoothed and uniformed, and the resistive force with respect to the movement of the lever is increased stepwise. CONSTITUTION: A lever assembly 10 has a housing 11 having a pivotal slot 16. A lever 18 is received within the pivotal slot 16 in such a manner as to be slidable and pivotally movable and can be moved pivotally from a central position to a displacement position. On end of the lever 18 supports a roller 76. A lever spring 80 energizes the lever 18 towards the central position. The housing 11 is engaged with the lever 18 to form a stopper for preventing the pivotal movement of the lever to a first displacement position, as long as a pivotal pin 20 does not slide towards a stopper within the slot 16. The housing 11 is engaged with the roller 76 to form a locking device for releasably holding the lever 18 at the displacement position. According to the displacement position of the lever 18, a converter 100 generates an electric signal. |
